I have been getting into natural body oils of late and thought I would share my latest recipe blend with you!

DIY Natural Body Oil

1 1/2 oz Castor Oil
1 1/2 oz Avocado Oil
1 oz EVOO
1 oz Argon Oil
1/2 oz Rosehip Oil
1/2 oz Vitamin E Oil

Combine oils in a 6 oz bottle. Shake to blend.
(I used an empty, cleaned cleanser bottle)

I use this everyday after showering and throughout the day as a hand lotion replacement. My skin has never felt at hydrated or moisturized as it does today!

Have you tried making your own body oil? If you have or decide to give it a go, post it and tag us or use #silvermanebiz I would love to see your blends!

Here are the reasons I chose the oils I used:

Castor Oil: Prevents wrinkles, moisturizing, promotes overall skin health.

Avocado oil: moisturizing, protects your skin from damaging UV rays, also increases collagen metabolism.

EVOO: Repairs damaged skin tissue, strengthens skin tonicty, antioxidants to combat aging.

Argon oil: Protects against sun damage, treats a number of skin conditions, anti-aging properties.

Rosehip oil: Boost collagen, protects against sun damage, reduces hyperpigmentation.

Vitamin E oil: Lightens brown spots and scars, helps with a multitude of skin conditions.

Lemongrass Essential oil: Detoxifies the skin, helps lighten and brighten skin.

It’s been a minute but I’ve been really busy with dr appts, procedures, playing nursemaid, and follow up appts to do me a lifetime.

However, I have found a few minutes during this time to sew up a few things to use up my fabric stash that quite frankly, has been bugging me lately!

I have knocked out some but there is much more to go. Are any of you guys guilty of buying fabric with good intentions to only find it staring you in the face later? Please tell me I’m not the only one!😂

Do you find it difficult to look cute when it’s hot?

I get it! I struggled with it too. The trick is finding lightweight, breathable fabrics such as cotton, linen, silk, bamboo, or chambray!

This cotton kimono over a silk tee is perfect paired with denim shorts and I feel cute enough to tackle my day while staying cool!
